When I first thought about getting an old pickup I thought it would just be a rough old utilitarian type thing that I would just like having to use on the rare occasion when I needed to haul something. Of course it had to be a Chevy. I just like how the old ones look. It also seems so "American" to have a Chevy pickup.
Well I found this really clean 1965 C10 Longbed on Craigslist and convinced myself I had to have it. After getting it and viewing other guy's trucks on the various online truck forums, I realized I couldn't just leave it be. I HAD to work on it. I have come to realize that I like working on things as much as I like owning and driving them.
As I said, this truck is very VERY clean for a vehicle that is nearing 50 years old. I really wanted a Shortbed, but this thing was so amazing I couldn't pass it up. And, since I really wanted a Shortbed, and I really like working on my vehicles, you can guess what my plan is for this C10!
